What originated in 2015 out of a need for a stronger presence of hip-ho acts in the Columbus, Ohio festival scene has become a platform for up-and-coming artists to showcase their skills and fans of the culture to enjoy an annual day with their extended hip-hop family.

LIVE PERFORMANCES
From national headliners to local young guns. Multiple stages will feature a curated lineup of MCs and DJs that every generation of hip-hop fan will enjoy.

LIVE ART
The visual element of hip-hop is alive and well at 2x2. Graffiti writers from around the Midwest painting live throughout the festival grounds provides an up close and personal look into how colorful fills, outlines, and backgrounds come together to create vibrant pieces of public art.

BREAKING BATTLES
New for 2026, a Breaking School vs. School battle where kids and their teacher’s will team up to battle schools from around the country.
Returning for another year is the classic 2v2 breaking battle open to bboys and bgirls of all ages.
Battles brought to you by Flavor’d Flow Studio, The Kutt Records, and Caught Breaking.
150+ CARS ON DISPLAY
Vaded Street Circuit is organized by the crew behind Vaded Mob, a car club and apparel brand based in the Midwest. Their car shows focus on quality builds bringing you the latest and greatest looking cars from around the country.
HIP-HOP VENDOR MARKET
In between seeing some of your favorite artists on stage and seeing breakers and MCs battle it out, our vendor market is full of local and regional apparel brands, vintage shops, jewelry makers, hip-hop memorabilia collectors, and more to support.
MC & BEATBOX BATTLES
The battles at 2x2Fest have always been a crowd favorite and in addition to the breaking battles, attendees will see MC and beatbox battles featuring lyricists and beatboxers from all over.
HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES
One of the main reasons 2x2 Hip-Hop Festival exists is to pass on the elements to the next generation. The festival serves as an opportunity for kids and people of all ages to pick up a can of spray paint, put their hands on a record, join a breaking cypher, or get on a microphone.
LOCAL FOOD & DRINKS
For 2026, we are taking over the entire block of Land Grant Brewing in Columbus’ Franklinton Arts District.
This all day festival will feature local food trucks, drinks, and themed cocktails to enjoy.
